GasNZ CoC

The members of GasNZ have created a minimum set of competency requirements for working in the reticulated gas industry (natural gas and/or LPG) and in the distribution and Gas Measurement System (GMS) sectors. Certificates of Competence (CoC) are issued by Avetta on behalf of GasNZ.

To apply for a new renewal of CoC, download the application form below. The cost of issuing a Gas CoC is $90 (GST exclusive). This will provide you with access to an online mobile app and you have an option of also having a competency card with QR code for an extra $35.

There is an industry requirement for refresher training to be completed prior to renewal. If you would like information on the competency requirements or have any questions about CoC applications, contact Avetta at gascertificate@avetta.com.
