We design AI features with transparency and control in mind. Our approach includes:
Optional AI features: Some AI capabilities are clearly labeled and entirely optional. Examples include AI-powered summaries, chatbot assistants, or AI-generated recommendations. Customers can decide whether to use these features.
Background AI capabilities: Other AI functions operate behind the scenes to support platform functionality, efficiency, and quality. These include:
- AI that generates user‑visible suggestions or recommendations, such as recommended responses, which can be reviewed, accepted, modified, or rejected before they are applied
- AI that operates entirely in the background without user‑facing outputs, such as intelligent data processing, automated quality checks, or system optimization, which support platform performance and do not require user interaction
While these background features are not individually configurable or subject to opt-out, they're designed to enhance the platform's effectiveness and reliability.
Regardless of whether a feature is optional or operates in the background, we apply the same rigorous data protection principles, security controls, and governance safeguards to every AI-enabled system. Your data receives consistent protection across all AI use cases.
