The manufacturing sector in Canada feature large workforces of manual laborers working in hostile/high-risk environments by default. To this end, PPEs such as high visibility clothing, body padding and harnesses, warning tape, noise-canceling headphones, and face masks are mandatory requirements for ensuring workplace safety and security.Lessons learned for the 2020 pandemic show that it only becomes even more crucial that PPEs are used and enforced properly across the manufacturing sector.
