David Toth is a Senior Associate of System Programs with the American Petroleum Institute in Houston, Texas. In this role, David oversees the Pipeline SMS Third-Party Assessment Program. Before joining API, David was a Manager of Compliance, Codes, and Standards at Kinder Morgan. David has over 15 years of experience in the energy industry. His experience includes leadership roles in oil and gas operations in the upstream and midstream sectors, emergency services, Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management, and business development. David has a Bachelor of Political Science and Sociology from the University of Texas at El Paso and a Master of Science in Environmental Policy and Management with EHS from The University of Denver.
