Avetta Achieves ISO 27001:2013 Certification

May 19, 2021, Orem, UTAH— Avetta®, the leading provider of supply chain risk management software, announced today it has received ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification, confirming the Avetta Connect™ platform and services meet rigorous international standards in ensuring confidentiality and integrity for clients. A-LIGN, an independent, third-party auditor, certified the accreditation of Avetta’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) as outlined by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).

The certificate endorses the activities and processes required to deliver Avetta’s Cloud/SaaS Application, Avetta Connect™.  The recognition approves the underlying assets of the development, quality assurance, delivery and support functions of the production processing environment and operational business functions at the corporate office.

“We are excited to meet ISO’s high standards and will continue helping 100,000 suppliers and 3 million workers comply with safety and financial risk standards,” said Mark Johnson, Avetta VP, Information Technology. “This certification demonstrates Avetta’s commitment to information security at every level, including several measures and countermeasures that protect our clients from unauthorized access or compromise.”

A-LIGN found Avetta has technical controls in place and formalized IT Security policies and procedures. A-LIGN is an ISO/IEC 27001 certification body accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) National Accreditation Board (ANAB) to perform ISMS 27001 certifications.
