What time should I land and depart out of Belize City Airport (BZE)?
Arrival:
We recommend landing at Belize City Airport (BZE) by 4pm. After clearing customs and deboarding, it will take about 20 minutes by Hopper plane or 1 hour by express water taxi to reach your hotel. The Welcome Happy Hour begins at 6pm.
Departure:
We recommend flying out of BZE after 9am. Please allow at least 2 hours for international check-in and security. Travel time from San Pedro to BZE is approximately 20 minutes by Hopper plane or 1 hour via express water taxi.
How do I get from Belize City Airport to San Pedro?
You can reach San Pedro from Belize City Airport either by a 20-minute Hopper plane or an approximately 1-hour water taxi.
Please note that Hopper flights and express water taxi bookings will not be available or arranged until January 13th. On that date, you will receive full transportation details and be able to select your preferred option.
Am I able to extend my stay?
Yes, you can arrive early or extend your stay. Avetta will still cover airfare for you and your guest, but any additional hotel nights, meals, transportation, or excursions will be at your own expense.

Glide through crystal-clear waters with masks and fins as you float above vibrant coral reefs and encounter incredible marine life, including moray eels, nurse sharks, stingrays and sea turtles.
After snorkeling, unwind onboard as lunch and drinks are served while we sail to Caye Caulker.
Once on the island, enjoy two hours of free time to explore the beach strip, soak up the island vibes, and visit local restaurants for additional food and drinks.
You will then return to the dock by 3:00pm for the sail back to Alaia’s dock.
Swim above colorful coral formations and tropical fish at Hol Chan, then head to Shark Ray Alley for an up-close encounter with friendly nurse sharks and stingrays in clear, shallow waters.
With expert guides, quality equipment, and easy boat access, this experience offers an exciting glimpse into Belize’s vibrant marine life.

This full-day Triple Combo Tour brings together history, nature, and adventure as you explore an ancient Mayan archaeological site, float through a mystical cave river, and experience the thrill of ziplining through the jungle canopy.
Lunch is provided during the tour, allowing you to relax and refuel between activities.
After a full day of exploration and adventure, you’ll return to Ambergris Caye by early evening, with transportation back to the resort.

Walk the ceremonial paths, climb temple structures, and take in the lush jungle surroundings as your knowledgeable guide brings the site’s rich history and cultural significance to life.

Your Transfer from BZE to San Pedro
After arriving at Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport (BZE), you’ll take a short connecting flight or water transfer to the island of San Pedro. Avetta will coordinate and cover the cost of your transfer, ensuring everything is arranged for you in advance.
Water Taxi: 5:15am–5:30pm
