Intense Complexity Demands, Intense Safety—Here's How
Advanced technology and automation have reduced many of the workplace hazards associated with manual labor; but, they’ve also introduced different risks that require management focus. The changing demographics of the workforce necessitate new approaches to safety management in order to minimize worker injuries, illnesses, business losses, and supply chain interruptions. Worker safety has also become an issue of organizational sustainability and is of significant interest to a variety of stakeholders. In this session, Tom Cecich will help you assess your current risk levels, apply new standards and technologies, and recommend transitioning safety measurement systems to leading indicators (proactive actions) from lagging indicators (past incidents).
