IRVINE, CA, April 12, 2016 – Avetta, the global leader in supply chain risk management solutions, announced that John Moreland, Founder, has been named to Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine's "Pro to Know" list for 2016.

The Pros to Know Awards recognize supply chain executives leading initiatives to help prepare their companies’ supply chains for the significant challenges of today’s business climate. This year’s list includes more than 200 individuals from software firms and service providers, consultancies or academia, who helped their supply chain clients or the supply chain community at large prepare to meet these challenges—and more than 40 Practitioner Pros, who do the same within their own companies.

“The Pros to Know is a listing of exceptional corporate executives who are leading initiatives to help prepare their companies' supply chains for the significant challenges in the year ahead,” says Ronnie Garrett, editor of Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “We commend recipients for their achievements. Their accomplishments offer a roadmap for other leaders looking to leverage the supply chain for competitive advantage. Their efforts in developing the tools, processes and a knowledge base for supply chain transformation, as well as in promoting new approaches to supply chain enablement, earned these individuals a rightful place in this year's Pros to Know listing.”

“John started this business because of his passion for creating a safety culture. A true visionary and innovator, John developed a global platform that now streamlines and simplifies the supplier prequalification process. Congratulations to John and his accomplishment for being named as a Pro to Know,” said John Herr, Avetta CEO.

Supply & Demand Chain Executive, the executive's user manual for successful supply and demand chain transformation, received more than 350 entries for the 2016 Pros to Know Awards. The full list of 2016 "Pros to Know" awards winners is available on their website. The expanded awards coverage and winners list appeared in the March 2016 issue of Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine and online.
