AVETTA APPOINTS ADAM THIER AS CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

Avetta, LLC, the global leader in supply chain risk management solutions, has appointed Adam Thier as the firm’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Mr. Thier brings more than 25 years of experience in enterprise software design and development. His expertise and strong track record of architecting transformational infrastructure solutions has positioned him as a leader in infrastructure management. His specialties include RUM, web and mobile monitoring and testing, digital marketing, big data, business intelligence / analytics; in-memory databases, iOS & HTML mobile interfaces, design thinking, consumer / corporate applications, co-innovation, and enterprise performance management.

 

In his role as Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Thier will play an integral role in the company’s strategic direction, development, and future growth of Avetta. With a solid understanding of software development challenges, he will lead the technology roadmap to ensure business and technology alignment, working closely with product and development engineering to translate market intelligence and technology trends into winning product strategies.

With a special emphasis on design thinking and co-innovation, his focus includes creating applications utilizing big data to reinvent core business processes as well as applications testing and real user management. Prior to joining Avetta, Adam served as EVP Engineering, SAAS for Dynatrace and Keynote Systems. Previously, he held the position of SVP, Strategic Projects & HANA Services for SAP.

 

Mr. Thier earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Arts from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York.
