Avetta, a software provider of supply chain risk management solutions, has launched a tech platform called "Connect." It will act as a bridge between organizations with qualified and vetted suppliers, contractors and vendors.
Orem-based Avetta announced Wednesday the launch of a new technology platform to help its clients manage all areas of their supply chain vendors.
As new markets open up or change, even more significant risks may come to the fore. It is more critical than ever for companies to increase visibility not only into their own operations, but also their supplier and vendor ecosystems as well.
On a global scale, supply chain risk for large conglomerates can often be about regulatory compliance, contract negotiations and even addressing threats based on weather patterns and natural disasters.
