As Chief Executive Officer, Arshad Matin is responsible for leading Avetta as the Company accelerates its growth strategy and continues to execute on the opportunity to utilize software and data to enhance safety, sustainability and regulatory compliance outcomes for clients and suppliers in North America and internationally.
Prior to joining Avetta, Mr. Matin served as President, Chief Executive Officer and a board member of Paradigm, a leading developer of software and analytics solutions to the global oil and gas industry, from 2013 to October 2018 when it was acquired by Emerson. Mr. Matin also led as Executive Vice President of IHS Markit Inc. (NYSE: INFO), a leader in global source of information and analytics. Mr. Matin joined IHS Markit through the acquisition of Seismic Micro-Technology, where he served as President, Chief Executive Officer and a board member. Mr. Matin also held leadership positions at Symantec Corporation (NASDAQ: SYMC), BindView Corporation and was a Partner at McKinsey & Company. He started his career as a software developer for Mentor Graphics Corporation.
Mr. Matin earned a Master of Business Administration degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania; a Master of Science degree in computer engineering from the University of Texas at Austin; and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in electrical engineering from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology in India.
Mr. Matin serves as a board member or trustee for ASGN Incorporated (NYSE: ASGN), and several non-profit organizations including the Houston Endowment, Texas Children's Hospital and St. John's School.
CHIEF CLIENT OFFICER
Kevin brings more than 25 years of product management experience including working in agile development environments, delivering SaaS-based products, leveraging new technologies, and securing confidential data for Fortune 500 companies.
In his role, Kevin leads an integrated product development and management team for the company and oversees the Avetta product roadmap. Kevin is also responsible for all facets of the product lifecycle, global product vision, understanding client needs, providing technical solutions, and reporting on product results to maximize revenue and profitability. Demonstrating both product and technical expertise, Kevin has managed and scaled teams that enhanced the business intelligence software evolution through periods of explosive growth.
Kevin earned his MS in Computer Information Systems from University College at University of Denver and he also holds a BS in Accounting from Colorado State University, Colorado.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
As Chief Financial Officer, John is focused on expanding the bandwidth of the finance organization, improving the financial systems of the company and collaborating with the executive team to prioritize analytics that will help accelerate profitable growth. He is responsible for all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, tax and treasury.
Prior to joining Avetta, John served as the Chief Financial Officer at Riverbed Technology, a billion-dollar technology company that developed next-generation networking and application monitoring software. His 25+ year career has been spent working for technology companies in Silicon Valley, where he held senior executive positions over the last 15 years. He began his career with Ernst & Young where he obtained his CPA.
John is a graduate of Brigham Young University and holds a degree in Accounting and Information systems. He is passionate about developing high functioning teams where clarity of purpose and strong accountability systems lead to superior problem solving and decision making.

Bill Stephenson, Vice President of U.S. Sales, at Avetta, is based in Houston, Texas. Bill’s responsibilities lie in driving new customer and organic customer growth for the Avetta’s client base. Prior to joining Avetta, Bill was the VP of Americas Sales at Paradigm Geophysical, which was then acquired by Emerson in December 2017. He also served as the Senior Vice President of Sales at symplr, where he led sales teams across symplr’s Credentialing, Provider Management and Payor Enrollment product lines. symplr was recently acquired by Clearwater Capital. Prior to symplr, he served as the SVP of Americas sales at P2 Energy Solutions. There he led the American Sales Team in delivering $200M in annual revenue. For nearly 20 years prior, Stephenson has held executive sales positions at Spatial Energy, Seismic Micro-Technology, IHS, BindView and Symantec Corporation. 11 years of those years were spent at BindView/Symantec, where Bill held Sales Executive, Regional Sales Manager and Sales Director positions. Most notably, he was interim VP of Sales at BindView during the acquisition and transition to Symantec during which he led the sales team to a record quarter post acquisition. Stephenson served in the U.S. Army for four years including active duty in Desert Storm. He earned his BBA in Finance from The University of Houston in 1996. Bill and his wife Lisa have raised 3 kids in Houston, and in is his spare time enjoys watching football, basketball and baseball games at the University of Houston. He actively volunteers at the Lone Survivor Foundation.
