  • OSHA: Protect workers from soaring temperatures – Loveland Magazine: This summer, temperatures are expected to climb well above the 90s – and even the 100s in some places. According to OSHA, the most common problem identified in heat-related deaths and illnesses of workers is the lack of heat prevention and acclimatization programs provided by employers.
  • Macy’s and the Finish Line Aren't Coming in First with OSHA – EHS Today: Due to Macy’s and The Finish Line repeatedly ignoring OSHA standards by not clearing clutter blocking exit routes and electrical disconnect switches, OSHA issued fines to both of the retailers. As OSHA’s area director in Fort Lauderdale explains, “Macy's continues to ignore OSHA standards and previously cited violations that relate to blocked emergency exits and access to electrical disconnect panels that puts employees at risk of serious injury or death.”
